My name is Tatiana (also known as Tati), and I recently graduated December 2023 from East Carolina University with a double concentration in Professional Acting and Theatre Education. Apart from my love of performing, I thoroughly enjoy sharing my passion with the youth through directing and teaching. I was a student teacher at a high school in North Carolina where I taught, as well as co-directed, was the intimacy coordinator, and dialect coach for the Fall play Radium Girls by D.W. Gregory.

I am also extremely passionate about integrating underrepresented groups with the arts. Being a black woman in the world of theatre, I want to advocate for a more inclusive and accepting environment for people like me. At East Carolina University, I was on the board of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee. I also joined a club known as “The Black Makers Guild”, where I performed with my fellow POC’s in the School of Theatre on Black History Month to advocate that black art is also beautiful and deserves to be recognized. The selections performed were also made into a short film. I believe art can bring all communities together and I hope to use the art of theatre to reach all audiences, of all backgrounds and beliefs.
